Wednesday is VERY ANGRY 😔

To be fair the summer tourists and the sailors are amazing. It's the winter coach party customers that moan. But some good points, thank you.

I’m off to London on Friday and my travel anxiety has started right on time. I leave all my laundry to the last minute and to add an extra layer this trip I haven’t yet sorted out my winter storage clothes and what I might want to take from there. I’m starting to realise my anxiety is entirely caused by my own procrastination.

Mostly it’s because I’m terrified of getting ILL before I get there. Everyone is dropping like flies with something and I’m avoiding all human contact until I leave :)

I'd rather have some honest northern germs than the lurgy from that plague city bunch.

I've just spoken to my agent and we strongly suspect I'm not doing the job as advertised OR someone else is doing it. I like the school, but honestly I'd rather this exhausting and confusing experience comes to an end and I can get back to my normal routine. Bad communication is such a pet hate.
THE POSITION NEVER FUCKING EXISTED AND THEY FILLED THE COVER INTERNALLY WITHOUT TELLING ME AND GOT ME IN ON FALSE PRETENCES.

I actually don't care that much, but it's a bit fucking cheeky.

If it’s any consolation, this happens everywhere and all the time. I think it’s probably happened to me half a dozen times

Schools tend to be a more decent and respectful environment when it comes to teacher-to-teacher interactions. But as I said I'm not that bothered, there are other schools.

Agencies do that shit all the time. We had to let a whole bunch of people work from home because the agency told everyone it was WFH after 6 months when it wasn't; it was designed as a permanent in-office role.

We’ve gone for a meal in the local pub, and they’re randomly playing the Spice Girls’ discography :disco:
