Wednesday uses outdated cultural references

I bought a tub of that Pink Stuff cleaning paste for 89p from Poundland last week, after my friend raved about it I thought I'd see if it was as good as she said it was and happened to spot it when I went in for sweeties. I cleaned the fireplaces tiles with it and they look good as new with the minimum of effort so it was worth it just for that as they're normally a steam-cleaner and Brillo pads job . I've also just cleaned the freezer door with it and it made a usually-2-hour job into a 15 minute job and looks better than it's done in years! It goes through dog-snot, the most difficult thing to clean off anything, like a hot knife through butter.

“It goes through dog snot like a hot knife through butter” :D they should put that on the box

I've tried it on my oven and cooker but didn't find it so good :(

Is it meant for cookers? It says it's suitable for cooker tops on the side but I thought it was mainly for like plastic doors and ceramic stuff where you want a bit of abrasion but not too much (Brillos scratched my upvc door). There are no chemicals in it so I wouldn't expect it would break up grease very well, I'd probably try it on the outside of the oven door (maybe) or the steel hob rings but it would take ages trying to do the inside of the oven in it and I'd probably still need a window-scraper for the inside door-glass.
