He's in a care home but in an EMI unit (elderly mentally infirm) with nurses because he also needs constant nursing care so his "section" has a Sister, nurses, general healthcare assistants and carers. I've taken to just calling them all carers now because they do really care and they take all that shit off him and brush it off and smile like it's nothing and then they make sure he's warm enough, ask whether he wants a brew or a butty and continue going about their business. I've learned what carers really are in the last fortnight and I know I couldn't do it, not even for a week.

Fantastic, it definitely must put your mind at ease knowing he is getting well cared for. Oh, I totally agree these people are absolute godsends and I also would seriously struggle doing what they do. I wouldn’t mind keeping the people in care company and making them food and drink. Unfortunately that’s where it would end for me. It takes a special kind of person to do their job, and they are overworked, and underpaid but still give all patients the love and care they need. Absolute diamonds.
 
Mr L has just had confirmation that something he had removed from a rather personal place was nothing more than stuff and nonsense, and I'm sure yours is nothing more as well Shee. The majority of tests are to rule something out, rather than because they think it IS something.

oh just saw this after saying oh hai have you lost weight :manson:

I’ve had a few friends over past few years have various skin cancer scares and they were always either nothing or pre-cancerous with no danger or just dodgy skin that needed seeing to blah blah

try not to fret! They are extra extra careful these days
