It was probably the 3rd or 4th drug I tried, wasn't that fussed about it for years when mates at school were smoking it all the time, probably because I've never smoked tobacco so I couldn't really get in on the joints being passed around. Eventually ended up smoking a few bongs and getting right into it for a couple of years because my ex smoked it all day every day. Kind of knocked it on the head when we split and only really had it occasionally for a good 10 years.
Can't remember when or why, it was probably moving to Spain and it being so popular, but I got back into it. I am now probably stoned most evenings. I know how to grow it and I am building an empire in the legal cannabis industry. Still haven't touched tobacco though.
Do love edibles but they're a bit more long haul, sometimes I don't want to wait an hour for them to kick in and then spend 3 hours bumbling around a bit confused, so I do smoke flower through a little pipe. The vape carts are great, instant high and nowhere as near as bad for you, but I'm very cautious about buying homemade ones here and the imported professionally produced ones from the US are pricey and hard to get, especially when I've got a constant supply of homegrown organic weed. I should probably buy a flower vape in all honesty.
I'm absolutely loving the way the public perception of it is changing, if you look at the legal strains (which is a lot of bullshit imo but marketing is marketing) brand names are changing from stuff like GREEN CRACK to FLUFFY BUBBLEGUM, there's a whole new demographic of cannabis consumer which doesn't want to sit ripping 5 skins in front of the telly in a dingy flat. 50% of consumers of cannabis in legal states aren't smoking it. To me that's fascinating. (And lucrative)
