I also hate the smell. To me it smells like someone hasn’t had a wash for a good week and has gone RIPE. :zombie:
 
I have smoked it once, and I was a paranoid wreck. But I was drinking alongside it so that may have been why.

I have always been curious about edibles, but have never tried them. The one time I was meant to, my train was delayed by three hours so my friend just ate them himself. Ended up with me sat making polite conversation with his mother as he was passed out on the living room floor.

It's illegal, class B, but in many places its defacto decriminalised. Some police forces have stopped bothering, as its a waste of time, some are even actively engaging and supporting cannabis clubs, providing safe places for people to consume cannabis out of harm and the public eye.

There's also a big issue around how different groups are handled by the police, there is a huge disproportion on ethnicities in prosecutions.

And lets not get onto the hypocrisy of tories growing and exporting it to other countries. The UK is one of the biggest producers in the world.
 
In my line of work over the last few years I've met many people who suffer from anxiety and depression that smoke weed to help it. Initially it works rather well but in the long run it seems to really fuck you up and make you reliant/just bury your problems. I suppose the same could be said for many drugs but the 'ohhhh its just weed' mentality makes the user less reluctant to get help and intensifies their problems.

I honestly think weed is absolutely rotten. In a group setting I kind of get it but if youre alone and smoking I think it causes big problems with prolonged use.
 
I thought edibles sounded exciting but from the stories above, I don’t think they are for me. If there’s anything I hate it is memory loss and not being in control of what I’m doing/behaving.
 
I've smoked it maybe four or five times in my life, but probably not for at least fifteen years and I don't anticipate ever doing it again. I'm in favour of legalisation for both medical and recreational use, as I can't see that it's in any way more harmful than alcohol.
 
Smoked it occasionally when I was younger, more often when I was on holiday in countries it was readily available. Haven't smoked it in years though and don't want to again.
 
I was a huge stoner for years. When I met Mr Ag I stopped actively buying it. This has continued. If it's about, I'll indulge. I'll also buy it a couple of times a year as a treat. I do miss it, but I also know it makes me very unproductive.

Obviously highs were very fun, but like has been said weed fits in with normal life much better.
 
I smoke about five times a week these days. Before quarantine it was maybe three times a week. I love it :disco: more often than not i get just blazed enough to spend a couple of hours feeling blissful and then i come back down to earth and i usually feel a bit more creative so i can work on writing or music. On a weekend I sometimes go a bit berserk and end up tripping balls for hours. I prefer to smoke alone and listen to music but I have a couple of trusted friends I can get high with without feeling awkward. And I only smoke outside as doing so at home is just disgusting honestly, and a big part of it for me is the enhanced appreciation of nature and greenery. Smoking at the park on a blazing hot day is such a delight.

The only downsides are that sometimes it disturbs my sleep/causes some fucked up dreams and then subsequently feeling tired the next day. But i can live with that.
 
Sleep is a very odd one, I find it usually makes me sleep like a baby, but if I go to bed completely fucked night after night there is a cumulative effect of feeling progressively more tired. All about balance I guess.

I can also get deep into thought while falling asleep and end up having to get up and write stuff down, which I did last night, but that was a good thing as it was a problem I was trying to solve.

I like to drink it (hot chocolate style) and I've never had any bad experiences, just bouncing around on shooting cartoon stars...

I use an amazing delivery service here. I send them a text, and one of their guys comes to me in an hour MAX.

And then he opens that briefcase and BAM.
 
I'd love the UK to follow the US/CA model but it won't happen. If/when we get legal weed it'll be much tighter.
 
Weed is still very expensive to purchase legally here (not to mention it takes ages and it's often rubbish quality). Most people are still buying from their dealers.

The Canada model is a mess, up until recently the city was closing weed cafes by putting massive concrete blocks in front of them (because they wouldn’t stop).

Oh there's plenty they've got wrong, and wasn't the bricking up of illegal/unlicenced shops? I was more thinking about the concept of lots of shops/cafes popping up in SLOUGH etc.

Its also interesting howlots of people aren't buying from the legal market, not just because of price, but they just like doing something a bit NAUGHTY.
 
I don't think being 'on weed' is that ridiculous. I mean stoned is a better word but it makes the same point.
