What is your favourite season?

I hated winter up to last year and had been convinced I had SAD on account of how sad I'd get.

Then I realised I just hated teaching in winter. It's much easier when you have the option of working from home.

Still my least favourite.

I like all four to be honest, but get over them after a while. 8 would be better, heck do each twice a year.
 
Autumn EASILY. I do love spring too.

To be fair, I like all 4 but Winter AND summer do tend to DRAG ON A BIT. Winter I only enjoy exclusively until Christmas and then it’s depressing.
 
I dislike cold, wet and windy weather immensely. My favourite season has got to be summer, by far.
 
Anyone who lives in the UK and says Autumn is just wrong, quite frankly... it can be beautiful in other countries but it just feels like a long, wet, cold trudge towards December here. That said, some people would have a go at me for my Winter apologism, but there's a season that understands the need for some light and life to get through it and threw us Christmas and Melodifestivalen accordingly. :disco:
 
Winter in the UK is fabulous up until New Years Day.

Then it is grim. What a way to start a fucking year. Fat, poor, wet, cold and depressed. Cheers.

Autumn in the uk is good for a week if the leaves are pretty AND the country is dry/sunny. Otherwise its just a season of ROT

I agree that September can be nice but basically only when it is unseasonably warm / cosplaying as summer.
 
I think October is a glorious month, right until the clocks go back at the end of it.

The SMELL of being outside then is wonderful, even if that smell is essentially one of death and decay.

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness indeed.

It’s the absolute worst season (Autumn) - it’s miserably moving towards darkness and murkiness.
 
It probably helps that my colour palette is very much autumnal.
 
I still stand by that Summer in the UK and Ireland is essentially AWFUL. It’s either far too warm which is lovely during the day when you can sit outside with a cold drink and bake but it can be unbearable at night. With the way things are going I would think that in the next 10 years or so an air conditioning unit may be as common in UK households as central heating. Talking about warm dry Summers is a MYTH. 80 percent of it is wet, dull, and windy.
 
At least in Autumn/Winter we still have the fall of leaves, Halloween, Fireworks, CHRISTMAS and New Year. These things are all guaranteed, unlike the weather which all seems to be merging in to one.
 
Also SNOW. We get it less and less now which in turn makes it all the more GLORIOUS. Mother Nature really is THAT BITCH.
