Although English weather ain’t much better. You had it 36 in London yesterday? Other than that and a couple of other occasions you have had a very wet Summer, no?
 
Where I am based in Scotland we do still have some hold on the seasons too which is lovely.
 
I always prefer how the weather is in Scotland when I visit (the Lanarkshire bit mainly). I think it was 2020 when it was a nice breezy/sunny type of weather there, whilst there were thunderstorms in (the Midlands) of England. 😅
 
In the UK, during the early autumn, the sunrises and sunsets are at a reasonable time (when most people will be awake) 🌅 and there's always "ooh it's getting darker now" in later autumn. :D 🌌

Since I got back from America 3 weeks ago, I think it's basically been sunny and warm almost the whole time here in London (bar about 2 or 3 days).

Yes, I read somewhere the other day that winter and spring this year were drier than usual, but summer has been wetter. It's only the last few weeks when it has got good.
 
In theory, I have a longstanding aversion to clothing which means that summer is the only time of the year where it is really societally-acceptable to BE ME.

In practice, I keep on situating myself in places where 'summer' means 35°-40°with insane humidity so I'm not sure if this is actually conducive to a functional existence. But so long as there are pools (or preferably beaches) I think I'd still take heat and colour over what the other seasons offer!

Spring and autumn are great for actually being able to do outdoor activities without dying, I should probably be more thankful for them.

I hate everything about winter except Christmas. I once tried doing Christmas Down Under thinking that fave day of year + sunshine = guaranteed happiness, but turns out that spending the 25th prancing around the Sunny Coast in santa trunks is just really fucking WEIRD.
 
Oh it is not. Christmas in the sun is marvellous :disco:

To be fair, I do like a cold Christmas period as well. But the New Year period makes much more sense down under. It’s nice to have a BBQ or beach day for New Year’s Day and not be fucking depressed to kick it off.

It's funny, as a kid everybody was unanimous on summer but as climate change takes hold I hear a lot more about people dreading it. Especially people from warmer places. It's unbearable if you're not from a temperate climate.
 
Autumn I think. I love the crisp sometimes sunny mornings

Love the cosiness of winter and the weeks of Halloween and Bonfire night is always a fave

I genuinely like all the seasons and their differences though. I couldn't imagine what it would be to have SAD, and my life/mood dictated to by the weather.

Love the summer and hot weather, but more when I am not working or am abroad!

I actually found the beginning month of autumn a bit dull this year, but in the last few days I felt it was really Autumn – trees mostly orange, hearing fireworks, even smells autumnal outside haha. Then with clocks going back to GMT and it's all great. :grin: 🪄 🍁

Aw, I've loved the autumnal colours this year, but I must say that whereas last year was a bit of a novelty as my first year out of teaching, I'm feeling a little bit of SAD this year.
 
I’m a total Autumn girl with the recent MILD days and now living in a leafy part of town. As someone with a very BROWN wardrobe this is also my time to shine, and of course I’m so glad to be dusting off my KNITS.

Autumn is definitely one of the most beautiful seasons. And we often get warm, sunny days, where you just need a jumper. I also love the cooler crisp days.

Spring is probably my favourite tho, because of all the flowers that start to appear.

Summer is ok, but I hate being too hot. I do enjoy the long days tho.

Winter is the worst. I don't really see any appeal. Although, January is currently my favourite winter month because we go away for the month somewhere hot.
 
Would love to get snowed in, whack the heating on and stare out the window.

Oh no I couldn’t be doing with that. I think EVERYTHING looks prettier with a good fall of snow and don’t think I like any weather condition better to be honest. Just for that time when it seems like the world has stopped and heavy snow is dancing around the skies before it hits the ground. STUNNING.

I do love the very rare occasion when I have looked out the window in the morning to a blanket of snow. Plus it means all transport stops on the island so I get a day off work. But it doesn't happen much sadly.
 
I like it sometimes. A freezing cold dark night outside whilst sitting in all cozy with some red wine and a cheese board can be quite magical. The whole 4/5 months we get it for can FUCK RIGHT OFF though, but luckily I don’t suffer from SAD.
