omg when my company put me up in that tiny cheap hotel in the back streets for my training week, and your friend was staying in the exact same hotel?! That was a gag
 
I had an accident with my sister. She was supposed to book book us an airbnb IN Amsterdam, but she booked a flat 'near' Amsterdam instead, in Alkmaar.

When we Arrived wthe host took us to Alkmaar and it was an amazing, beautiful city. I want to go there again!

Then we went to Amsterdam a couple of times. It was full of tourists. You could barely walk, the city's small streets and alleys were so PACKED! It was not even high season.

It’s cheap, the people are friendly etc. However 24 hours was more than enough for a visit so it may not be the most exciting place to live. I’d imagine Budapest or Vienna would be much easier to entertain yourself in during your down time.
 
I've only got 11 (and that includes Rome and the Vatican, so really 10) and I feel that's really not good enough.
 
If this thread doesn't entice Eileen back to vote in, nothing will.

So rude, but it was during his trip to Saudiarabia and so maybe he didn’t want get stoned to death in case they’d see our conversation. :(
