Take it or leave it
Slight twist on the 'Songs you hate by artists you love' thing.
The gorgeous Leaving is a saving grace, but on the whole they sound tired, out of touch and more than a little bit jaded on this record. Fortunately they bounced back with Electric and Super, though the subsequent two albums I must admit I've probably played all of twice apiece.
I've done my rant on this one quite recently but again, two keepers in the title track and Les Sex aside, this is really a weak, uninspired grab-bag of an album. Tension II is almost as vapid, but I'll give it a pass for essentially being a companion piece to the first one.
