this is already happening. governments will hide behind the "will of the people".

i think locking down very early here resulted in little fatalities (under 100) and people feel like the danger was overstated.

life on the streets here is all but back to normal ahead of the planned end of lockdown (13th of may).

i have a bad feeling about this but then when don't i so who knows. we'll see. i think it's reasonable to start reopening and close again if infection rates start picking up in 2-3 weeks.

Look, as has been pointed out elsewhere. If the death toll for the UK was in, for talking's sake, the bottom 3rd, they wouldn't be arguing as to how accurate the figures coming from other countries are, they would just take it and celebrate it. It's way too soon! The virus isn't suddenly going to GO AWAY because people are bored of it, there is NO CURE! I'm honestly baffled by the logic...clearly there is none!
