I still think there will come a point where people question if it's worth it (and the government(s) will follow the lead of the people/media). As always it'll all be balanced with deaths, but are people really going to put up without a pint, or without being able to see ANYONE outside of the household for more than a few minutes at two swords length, for YEARS? Live has to go on, people need to socialise, kids need to learn and see other kids and develop. All sorts of things.
Such as it is, we have a government who took a whole month to decide whether or not people in care homes counted as "people".

I think it's still too soon to be loosening restrictions. There are too many UK government ministers releasing briefings about what the country could or may do, it's undermining the lockdown.
I'm glad Scotland are likely to take a different approach.
