yes I’ve got to say if I went for a run, it didn’t stop me going for a walk either

but then there have been some days when I’ve not went over the door
 
I limited my exercise to an hour. But I'm pretty out of shape anyway.

Shop trips however were never limited. We were conscious of it and have actively avoided other humans if we needed to pop out.
 
My parents are texting me asking if they can go out or not. What shambolic communication from Boris & co. as usual. Whatever people levelled at the coalition, at least Cameron, Clegg and Osborne gave off the impression of basic competence. I suppose it's what you get when you purge all the grown-ups and moderates in the party for not wanting to drive of the Cliffs of Dover with you.

Not everyone that goes to garden centres is a cunt. As a very amateur gardener I can't wait to get back. They're quite easy to social distance within. Also all the plants would die if they're not attended to.
 
I just can't with this government. Press briefings to the preee all fucking week suggesting the lockdown is ending, and then we get this. :manson:

It's not that I want the lockdown to end sooner than it needs to. We desperately need some clarity and real leadership.

The furlough scheme has been formally extended to June 30th. Johnson wants the "hospitality" sector to reopen with restrictions on July 1st. In other words - he's going to create the same conditions for that industry that he created in the week before lockdown. What a cunt.

Yeah, we won’t pay your workers as you’re legally allowed to open, but at 30% capacity where you don’t stand a chance of turning a profit.
 
I don’t understand the increase in a fine - now that the line is so blurred who is to say what is and isn’t breaking the rule?
 
Have we noticed the BBC is leading with the fact that Boris is trying to “pull off the impossible”.
