She is alive and well. I've always found her to be lovely, she very seriously offered to lend me a large amount of money for a hip replacement for Ridley if it became necessary and we've never even met in real life. I'll never forget that, even though it would never have happened the offer meant a lot to me.

I'd be up for another Manchester Moopmeet. Only the sedate cafe part though, not going out on the lash.

As for having people on Facebook as well as knowing them from Moopy ... I sat next to Slave all night, chatting away with him, at Star's wedding reception and didn't know he was Slave till days later! :D

The one in the place in Spinningfields (next to GBK I think) was the first one Mr F came along to. His face was a picture when Jonfessions arrived, I jumped up from my seat and we squealed at each other across the room and flapped our hands around. He was half expecting to hate it I think but he really enjoyed getting out of his comfort zone and we had such a laugh.
 
I’ve managed to meet a surprising number of Moopy people over the years despite hardly being on here now and never actually having been to a full scale meet.

I’d totally be up for one now I’m not stranded across the Irish Sea.

We DID have a few mini Moopy Eurovision meets where me, @COB @straightorbroken @VoR and @Pingu met up, one year in Manchester in 2012 just after I had joined Moopy and the year after in Edinburgh - @Johnkm was also at the first one and @Tetris-Rock came to the second one. We hired a flat off Airbnb and hung about there for most of it, though I do remember going to a Madonna night in Manchester in some RANCID club that was closing down.
 
I would definitely be up for a Moopmeet now I don’t have snivelling brats fighting for my attention all day long. I was at the wrong stage of life when you were all meeting up. Married with a toddler, and a baby. Now I am getting on a bit, single but definitely ready to mingle and approaching a midlife crisis. The time is NOW!
