Fruit and Vegetables

Corn on the cob with some butter and salt is divine
 
I buy the frozen packs and have one every morning as my 'cereal'.

But I HATE it in any other form. Especially corn chips and corn bread/tortillas.

But I absolutely love apple juice, but really don't ever buy apples. I think I don't like the skin on them.
 
Corn is like the apples of the vegetable world, they taste nice enough, they’re everywhere but I just can’t get that excited about them.
 
Have we covered JUICES?

Orange is still a classic.

Juiced Apple and Pineapple are both foul.
 
Also, I know it's an acquired taste but I love Tomato Juice. Especially in a Bloody Mary.
 
Tomato juice without any spices is nauseating, but with salt and pepper and chilli (and alcohol) it’s delicious.

I’m the same with bananas, I never eat the skins
 
Rosemary can sometimes taste like dust, not a big fan.

Cumin is another one that licoricey taste that I’d rather not have.
 
I never get dust from rosemary. Just a lovely piney bitter astringency. It is easy to overdo it though.

And I've never consciously got licorice from cumin, although as I dislike that as well I wonder if that is my issue with it? I'll consider it the next time I eat it against my will.

And as much as I dislike chili, I love paprika. And smoked paprika particularly is one of my very favourite smells and tastes.

I've said before how chili is just painful empty heat to me. As paprika and chili are from the same family, I wonder if chili tastes to some people like paprika does to me, because then I can see the appeal.
 
Fuck it, I'm going to make a paella for dinner and load it with paprika.
 
I've been making gousto meals for about a year and I always enjoy the ones that call for coating a chicken in curry powder/cumin mix. Makes it so aromatic.

Oregano, Mint, Rosemary and Basil are definitely my GREEN ONES du choix. Dill and Marjoram both great on salmon as well. HUNGRY NOW.

I hate the texture of apples. So unpleasant. The sensation of biting into an apple gives me a real nails on blackboard reaction. Eugh.

Apple juice IS lovely though.

I think I had something like that.

My mum used to make a frothy drink out of raw eggs and I cannot remember what it was. She stopped after the salmonella outbreak.

02. Cinnamon
03. Coriander
04. Thyme
05. Clove

My mom used to make zaatar at home cause my dad loved it. It’s a mix of several thing including sumac and sesame from what I remember.
