TO be fair, All of these songs sound like they were meant for someone other than Kylie.

The samples in I Feel For You are EVERYTHING! chaotic and relaxing all at once. The little hints of acid house piano falling in and out make my hole TWITCH! this feels like the song which maybe best sums up the Body Language "sound"/the album's mission statement/most direct homage to its influences.

"I Feel for You" is the weakest of the lot for me, but nice background music.

For LITERALLY years Someday was my favourite Body Language track. I love Green Gartside’s inclusion.

The melody doesn’t go quite where you expect it to.

"you think I can't be alone? well this woman's here to SHOW YOU! OH!"

-me, in the mirror, every time it falls apart with a guy after 1-2 dates again

I Feel For You sounds like an energetic retro-funk experiment and I'm fine with that. Just the right time in this album for something that wanders its own non-traditional path

she leans quite hard into the thin, high, hyper-girlish vox across this album doesn't she? and it totally works. which is funny cos when she does it these days it's really annoying.

Someday isn’t really doing it for me either

Something in the production of "Someday" is annoying as fuck. Like two sounds clashing and not working but someone left it in the mix regardless. I think it's my least favourite, despite some lovely flourishes.

I swear there is a level in Spyro that uses a very similar instrumental.

it takes about ten seconds of Loving Days to know that it's gonna ABSOLUTELY KNOCK.

ooooh, i wanna breathe you in...

rich melodies for daaaaays. this one is a very deep vibe indeed. I don't know if I'd necessarily noticed before but almost every song on this record (except perhaps for Promises and Obsession) has TONS of layers of instrumentation going on. It's all so elaborately constructed. and on top of all of that her voice GLIDES. total command.

Loving Days is the best song on this album.

Loving Days should really have ended this album.

But NO, she decided a CAREER NADIR would instead and destroyed the flow!

Loving Days though is exceptional, does she ever perform it now?

Yes, I was thinking the closest thing she has recorded to Confide In Me
