Of course Manchester aren’t out despite lower rates (and falling) than London was when went in Tier 2. TBH it’s probably the right call before we get the free for all.

Still in tier 3 despite numbers falling massively. Am I allowed to call the government a bunch of paedophile cunts openly on here? If so, I’d like to state as a matter of fact that every member of our shitcunt government is a paedophile CUNT.

Honestly though, as I said before, Bristol's rate HAS dropped massively, but every neighbouring area's rate (including North Somerset) is increasing again. What is the point of all this yoyoing Tier 3, tier 2, anything goes for 5 days, back to tier 2, everyone dies business?

Absolute tokenism. They've moved the bare minimum down just to evidence it's not a one-way street.

The north will continue to be fucked over, and in late January there'll national lockdown three and the likes of Manchester will have practically a full lockdown for 6 months.

It doesn’t help that they keep moving the goalposts for the rest of us. Huge chunks of Manchester should, by rights, be tier 2. Our rate here is lower than it was when we were in tier 1 pre-lockdown.

Considering the restrictions Wales has brought in, things are going to be very different on each side of the border there.

I actually quite approve of Trafford staying in Tier 3 because of how angry it makes that prick Graham Brady.

I can see why they haven't moved Central Manchester. We're below the national average, but we've only just held steady for the last week and a half.
 
My mum can see the Second Severn Crossing from her bedroom window on a clear day. That always makes me feel a little unwell.
 
My 91 year old Grandad had his first jab today. It does feel good to know that in a matter of weeks he will be protected.

My mum was very impressed with how the GP surgery was set up for the flow of patients with lots of space. It was a late afternoon appointment and as they were leaving care home workers started arriving for their injections, as the batch needed to be used up today.
 
Johnson to hold press conference later; there's speculation that there's some sort of travel restrictions on the way.

I did enjoy today's headline from an otherwise abhorrent newspaper saying "It's beginning to look a lot like lockdown".
 
Looking like it may affect things in Scotland too, which we'll find out about later.
