Thursday wakes up to a massive election

I hope we don’t have any Jersey posters here, they’ll have no electricity :(

Let’s hope the war doesn’t SPREAD to the Isle of Wight, poor @Rachey will be on the front line.

We don't have to worry about war with France. Apparently, their Army are about to drag Macron out and shoot him in the head in order to protect the republic from brown people anyway.

DC don’t eat the fudge
Oh hun, who said the French were the enemy? :sneaky:

Oh no! I presume you'll have it fixed lunchtime.

Sadly not. It's probably going to be a rip up the bathroom floor job to find what's leaking and that's beyond my DIY talents. Also I've had to come to the office to work because the laptop is sat on a tray of rice (fingers crossed) and I've got a million jobs that need filing by tomorrow.

It's very hard to find the enthusiasm to go and vote just for my Police (and Fire) and Crime Commissioner

Especially given the winner is guaranteed.

There was a half arsed campaign by some stoners to get people to vote for the PCCs who were most in favour of legal weed, but because of stoners they basically just told themselves and no one else.

Apparently there were different boxes for the different elections. I didn't notice and I put all three slips in the same one. Oops :D

I'm gonna try and cram the FF results into an hour. Hopefully, everything is WELL OILED and READY!

That's disappointing. Johnny Frenchie didn't enjoy the longbows at Agincourt and, given the current state of British military procurement, I assume that's still what we would have been using.

The Labour candidate here is ideally suited to the job but doesn’t seem to be picking up any traction. There must be something about Huntley Bumchildren the voters don’t like, I just can’t work out what.

The emergency man has been. It was part of a drain pipe from the sink that had come apart and had probably been seeping into the floor for a while and last night when I did my ablutions before bed it tipped it over the edge and the rest was history. My laptop seems fine as does the monitor from work, just my table that's ruined. Can't switch the lights on in the dining room for another week though to make sure it's all dried out.

Got some yoghurt coated pineapple as a HEALTHY SWEET TREAT, only to discover there is 600 calories in the (small) bag!!

So glad I read my polling card before I went to vote because it was at a different polling station than the last seventeen years have been at. It's a church that you can see from the big roundabout but you have to walk up a weird ginnel that runs along the side of the slip road off the motorway then through a housing estate but there are no signs to direct people. Commented at the nice man who gave me my votes that I'd walked round in circles trying to find the entrance and he said "they're doing it here on purpose because nobody can ever find it so there'll be less votes". The worst part is that I don't even think he was kidding.
