Interestingly (not THAT interesting) Nicole has a song called Tomorrow Never Dies, but it's not a cover of the Bond theme.

Oh yes! SO there was a very popular Goldeneye game for the N64 that came out at the same time as the film. This is a much later sort-of-but-not-really REMAKE for the Wii, that due to contractual reasons had to be a 'reimagining' (I think they were obliged to use the current Bond, which was Daniel Craig by that point). They also either couldn't or decided not to use the Tina Turner theme song, going instead with this cover by the shy and retiring Nicole Scherzinger (and produced by Dave Aude of Poison Venomous Mix fame).

I never had Goldeneye on the N64 but friends did and it forms some of my best childhood memories
 
Pulp - Tomorrow Never Lies
This is one of the potential Tomorrow Never Dies theme songs that was submitted following the rejection of k.d. lang's Surrender, and although unused Pulp would include it as a B-side of their single Help The Aged. The title change was either to avoid potential legal trouble, or possibly because the film was actually going to be CALLED Tomorrow Never Lies at some point in production (sources seem conflicted on this).
 
I must be the only person of my age who had never heard of the Goldeneye game until it was nostalgia.

If your friend picks Oddjob in a death match, you’re allowed to unplug his controller when he’s not watching.
 
If they;re not going to cast Jarvis Cocker as Doctor Who, they really should give him a Bond film.
 
The Goldeneye remake rumours, or situation rumoured, is fascinating. The relationship between Microsoft and Nintendo does seem to be warming up. Had no idea Scherzy scratching everyone's eyes out on her way to the middle had did this. Trivia updated!

Mya - Everything or Nothing
Another videogame theme, this time by Lady Marmalade star Mya who also got to star in the game alongside Pierce Brosnan. There was also a slower, jazz version of this one, which in a particularly surreal moment Mya got to perform live on the David Letterman show.
