Yeah the fact it was faint and took a while to show up means the virus is a lot weaker than last week I think, when a BIG FAT LINE appeared almost INSTANTLY.

I remember when I got that on the 3rd day, I was like oh BLOODY HELL I'm RIDDLED!

Maybe this one is more sensitive than yesterday's in detecting it? Or maybe the sharpness of the line doesn't mean something after all?
It doesn't make sense otherwise

We use lateral flow tests in work for other substances, and we're told that they are not quantitative at all. A line is a line - it doesn't matter if it's strong or faint.

Whether it's also true of the covid lft I don't know.

I meant in terms of whether they're asking for a PCR test these days but i went through the rules last night and they say we shouldn't be booking at all if we think we have been exposed.

So I checked the test 20 mins later and a faint line had appeared so still positive! Still got a couple of days though, so fingers crossed!

When I was at the tail end of it my penultimate test did just that, faint line that showed up 20 mins after, the next day no line. Your LOAD is reducing.

The study in Scotland has been tracking coronavirus and the number of people ending up in hospital.
It said that if Omicron behaved the same as Delta, they would expect about 47 people to have been admitted to hospital already. At the moment there are only 15.
The researchers said they were seeing a roughly two-thirds reduction in the number needing hospital care, but there were very few cases and few at-risk elderly people in the study.
