That's right! Join me this Wednesday as we tackle not one but TWO Creepers :shock: R U tuff enuff?

First feature (8pm) - The Abominable Dr Phibes

While Dr. Phibes' colleagues believe that he was killed, they get a shock when they find out that he is alive and is on a revenge seeking spree, killing the doctors responsible for his wife's death.

As mentioned elsewhere I've actually never seen this before, so I'll be enjoying it for the first time along with you all :disco: This film is available on Amazon Prime Video, or alternatively from our community video shop :)

Queen Kong isn't much of a horror by the way, I'll just get that out there right away :D But as a riff on King Kong it's horror ADJACENT therefore eligible for these
 
I have the whole week off for the LFF and am out and about most evenings… luckily on Wednesday my films finish before 5pm :D

Now where is this community library for Queen Kong?

Hmm, I can’t seem to find The Abominable Dr Phibes. Only the sequel is available on Amazon to rent. May have to download from the library.
 
I am already slightly regretting the idea of a double feature myself :tongueout: I shall power through while thinking of Rula Lenska though!
 
I might have inadvertently created a scheduling disaster, as I have scheduled a delivery from a well-known supermarket between 7 and 8. Hopefully closer to 7, but there's a small chance Dr Phibes will have to be pushed back five minutes or so if not :eyes:

Can't believe Oddbins are sending your weekly Buckfast delivery at such an inopportune time :o They have no sense of occasion.
 
I just had dinner, but I have a Snickers and some Space Raiders to deploy at the appropriate moments later on.
 
Not having the internet means I have to watch everything on my laptop just now, and it suddenly decided to do some Microsoft account GASH which it couldn't complete because... I don't have the internet! Stupid.
 
I have sorted it out now though, and have the film paused at 0:00 ready to play at 8:05 on the DOT!
