We are literally allowed to do that.

And this is the problem anyway.

But I meant more that there’s a lack of social distancing going on. I went out today but I’ve made sure it was nowhere near anyone else unless I had to be.

It took me quite a while to sleep last night. I'm doing my best to avoid information where necessary, but I stumbled on a graphic that overlays the deaths in Italy and the UK. We're basically in the exact same position that they were two weeks ago. I am doing my best to care for everybody, but I am worried for my Dad since we can't just close up our law firm.

I'd like to disconnect for a few hours from this insanity, but it's impossible to do online. I went to billboard.com to read some music stuff, and it's all coronavirus related, it's insane! I think I'm going to read and do some exercise.

I still don't understand how the Germans are staying alive!

I hear it's (i) a lot of the cases are younger and/or fit people who returned from skiing holidays in Italy and (ii) they are counting as deaths people determined to have died FROM the virus as opposed to people who died who were infected WITH the virus but also had other serious existing medical conditions

I’ve also tried to disconnect because this is stressing me out a lot. Not so much the pandemic itself, but the consequences it will have on life in general.

Also, I don’t think I’ve got the virus but only a cold, because I already feel almost well. Yesterday I started coughing a bit but that’s gone too. If it is covid then I’m glad it’s this mild and hope more people get it this way so we could go back to normal soon.

In fact who are these people?

I had three or four bad dreams in a row last night. Not nightmares but dreams either about being trapped or anxious.

I don't feel as nervous about this as I did when I came home mostly because I know (hope?) that I haven't harmed my mum or dad now, but we're being bombarded with so much and I do think there's a lot going on subconsciously.

There was one at two. Uneventful, "stop panic buying please" was the headline.

But that’s the lot then?

How DISAPPOINTING. I was banking on old people lockdown today.

I've just put myself forward for a job at a supermarket. I figure its gonna be quick money.

I’m probably not going to die because I’m quite happy to only leave my house once every few days for food and booze. Its not rocket science.

the us now just behind spain in reported cases. new york alone now has over 10k.

in comparison south korea managed the outbreak at 8k.

I'm sure they're testing A LOT more people than here, that's why.

I'm terrified looking at the numbers in Italy, I hope we don't go there :(

I had to go to the hospital today, I have staph, and feel like absolute shit. On my way there, BF drove past the huge park. It was PACKED. Families, people running, walking dogs etc. I then had to go into the pharmacy at Morrisons to get my antibiotics. Signs up saying please keep 1m apart from everyone. No one taking any notice of it at all. I wore a mask and got a few strange looks and tuts.

This country is FUCKED. Absolutely and utterly FUCKED. We are going to be Italy in 2 weeks time. No one seems to realise or give a shit.

Some people just wanna be part of the 'too cool' aloof crowd who jerk off over telling people how they just didn't fall for the hype cuz they're too 'independent'. When in reality they're only healthy cuz the REST OF US did the work.

The upside of lockdown is that my extremely noisy street is completely silent meaning I am getting some of the best sleep of the last two years.

The downside is that after spending the day cleaning the dishwasher, bleaching the bathroom and generally stripping the apartment's surfaces red raw, I have nothing to do tomorrow but work.

I don't even have any drugs in the apartment other than Tramadol.

Nearly 8k new cases in the US yesterday. That's a record for a single day, if you exclude the day in China where they changed the counting method.

officially north korea don't have any.

also myanmar, laos, a few african countries...

the us have overtaken spain in terms of most reported. at this rate they will take over italy in a couple of days... what an utter shambles... i don't wanna think how many thousands will die because of that lying sociopath.

apropos, his new strategy:
