His words aren't especially clear. It sounds like advice rather than law changes. Are we going in to LOCKDOWN? I’m sure I just heard he said to steer clear of pubs/restaurants etc even if we have no symptoms?
It sounds like the focus is on London, but I can't really tell.
I don't think anything is being banned, it's all just advice.
Yes, it certainly seems to fall short of lockdown.I don't think anything is being banned, it's all just advice.
Yeah definitely. It should become clearer when the journalists put forward their questions.

Specifically those who require the flu jab.Coming out of this, it's implied that I should be self quarantined. Eurgh.
Quite. We're an unruly bunch at times. Confirmed that it won't be enforced.Until the enforcement of these rules go in to place people are still going to frequent them...

Yup. Obviously many will comply. Inevitably this will likely change. To me it sounded like he was putting the onus on the venues themselves to close rather than him enforce closures.
Give it a week I reckon.I will be very surprised if you're not on lockdown in a week or so.

what would carrie bradshaw do?
Ignore Sainsbury’s 5-per-customer rule and then go clubbing
Noooooooo! I can't spend a fortnight at home with Mr F!
Right now, I'm like NO make me. So they probably should. The advice is all very sensible advice, but I can’t help thinking that things do need to be enforced rather than suggested.
