Brutal. You'd have thought the replacement guy would have let Tyler have a 2nd go since he's also done 3 events that he hasn't had to do. I'm not thrilled at this.

Also felt short changed at 2 events using that bridge.
 
Not sure putting Suspension Bridge on after Collision was a good idea considering it’s the same set it didn’t look very “new”.
 
Not sure they have Omega timing to determine 1000th of a second there
 
OH MY its on iplayer. I am going to hold out till the evening. Gladiators in the morning is not natural viewing for moi.

Yeah that was a massive shame for Tyler, he’s the first contestant I’ve had an actual interest in (coz I fancy the fuck out of him) but didn’t seem to have the legs at the end. He seemed genuinely gutted.
 
LOVED Suspension. Another good addition, though I agree it was a weird choice to have it straight after Collision

IN SHOCK at the result. It's probs not fair for the reasons SORB stated, but as much as I love Tyler I fancy Josh more so can cope. Also, would they have left in two lots of comments about Tyler potentially reaching the semis via fastest time if it wasn't to end up being the case? Fingers crossed

Farewell other man who kept mentioning his wife. What a rubbish event to get injured on. it was obvious he wouldn't be back when they suddenly showed the men's event before the women's one. I was half expecting dear Aneila from s2 to pop up and replace him.
 
Yeah it’s annoying that they decided to put both bridge games on the same show (sadly I think that will happen when Suspension Bridge is on). It didn’t help that cos of what happened in event 3 that they had to show them in the order they were filmed.

Greta to see Suspension Bridge back - it’s looking good and the event was fun. Anyone notice they didn’t put a time on it though?

Not sure why Fury was missing today. Comet given two events again. You go gurl.
 
Watching on a slight delay. Just past the ladies Unleash. I think they should do away with the foam block wall and make it a higher thing to jump that can either be jumped or use your hands to bop over. It just seems so pointlessly dangerous with the falling.
 
The way the women spent 5-8 working days just stood at the bottom on the Travelator

Happy for Shaun and his lovely arms and legs, but Mo was the stronger contender overall

Agree re: the ep. Easily my least favourite of this series. STILL ENJOYED IT THO.
 
I am enjoying the notably reduced female gladiators team at the moment meaning that everyone gets to do something. Though does anyone else have a sinking feeling for Comet each time she goes on Duel?!

Glad Shaun got through. But what is with everyone waiting for their opponent at the end of the balance beam to catch up?!
 
The waiting at the travelator is weird but I guess they’ve had practice now. Personally I can’t imagine their legs are that burned from doing the rest of it and it’ll be a bigger mistake not to get up first time but as we had seen with Tyler you’re running the risk of someone with big strides just bouncing up there and getting a win.
 
Yes the girls I feel were the weakest of the lot last night for the quarters.
Agree Comet isn't built for Duel like JET wasn't, but she gives it a good go.
 
Are they actually waiting or are they trying to catch their breath in an effort to not waste too much energy with multiple runs up the travellator?

She's a spin class instructor who hates taking the bins out, not a Gladiator who can take out contenders.

I do like how somehow Comet has become a regular on Duel - that’s her fourth time in two seasons!
 
Is this one on iplayer early too? Im going to watch around 19.30 - this looks a good one after the weakness of the contenders last week.
 
It absolutely is.

My dodgy firestick has the sole Aussie series, so you can understand my excitement, but it's all out of sync so I can't watch what I've read is a shambolic season (no one does reality mess like Australia).

In other Gladiator-like shows news, Russia has a topless wrestling show. They say they hate the gays..

An almost cautious-like eliminator from the male winner of the heat, but it really worked and no visible issue with the travelator.
 
Yep, I think the ladies eliminator could have been a different result without the stalling before the travelator. A great eliminator though.
 
God, TV Finn is just the full package. Swoon. I felt sorry for Hinley being up against him.

Only three episodes left :(
 
Like with previous series, I've lost a little interest as soon as the 1st round is over.
 
Did Hinley have a particularly easy first round, or just not have a good week tonight?
 
Last nights was a good ep!
Agree im so bored of Atlaspheres, they made it marginally better with that racing version but seem to have gone back to the original game.

The Ozzie version was terrible. I was over in Oz when it launched and it was a terrible studio set, looking very cheap. Ours is so much better. They did bring Pyramid back though and then left it up as part of the Eliminator :D
