perched to see if this album will coax a single 10 out of @IguanMoreSleep
this is basically the most musically diverse Lana Del Rey album so if you're struggling to differentiate...which of her other records do you know well?
how CHEEKY. this album is definitely a turning point for her in that she starts telling the stories of other people and dipping more into the mythology of Americana, as opposed to being the protagonist and focal point of her own unhealthy psychodrama. like Love, this a vaguely happy song.@RJN - have you heard this album before? Any others you haven't heard before?
But I never got into Ultraviolence, and never gave it, Honeymoon, or Lust for Life much of a chance.

Same for me. The two long titled ones are a great back to back duoOK we are back to the max tracks after a midsection slump.
playing Lana Del Rey ON YOUR PHONE? at least hooked up to the soundsystem I HOPE. the disrespect otherwise!

this is the exact same journey I took with Lana. major fan during Born to Die/Paradise, was totally turned off by Ultraviolence (West Coast aside) and then basically lost interest for years and dismissed her as a one-trick pony, got into Lust For Life after the NFR era began, and then went back to the stuff I'd missed. I LOVE IT ALL NOW.Well I was obsessed with her first album at the time. My sister and I would listen to it every day on the way to school for months. But I never got into Ultraviolence, and never gave it, Honeymoon, or Lust for Life much of a chance. I got really into Norman Fucking Rockwell and listened to it a lot last year. I just have a blind spot for everything in the middle.
