If I hadn't hemmed myself in with rigid rules I would've included our GLAD, I love her. Glennis here does very well though I think!
 
Dame Shirley Bassey - Get The Party Started
Now obviously this isn't a Bond theme, but I looked at the playlist and decided that really HAD to be more Shirl (she's the VOICE OF BOND you know!). This P!nk cover is obviously performed in the style of DSB's classic Bond themes, and was the soundtrack to a very Bond/spy movie themed M&S ad campaign starring Twiggy and some other people, so that's good enough for me! We'll hear from Dame Shirley again before the evening is through...

Praying for ‘History Repeating’. Or is two not actually Bond songs too many.
 
Do we think Shirl understood what was meant by "I'm coming up" in this song. Coming up the stairs? Coming up the driveway?

Now I don't THINK this was ever in the mix as an actual potential theme, rather just a track released around the same time as the film to try and capitalise on it a bit, but honestly what a FUCKING BANGER THIS IS :disco: :disco: :disco:

Sal - Devil May Care
This is an interesting one... a theme song for a BOOK! In 2008 Penguin published the novel Devil May Care (by Sebastian Faulks 'writing as Ian Fleming'), and as part of the promotion they held a contest for artists to submit a theme song, which was included in the audiobook version. This song by Welsh rock band Sal was the winner, and it's pretty good if you ask me! Sorry about the potato quality video, but you know... 2008 :eyes:
 
The low bitrate actually improves this...gives it a certain "early 00s videogame" sound.
