Little Mix - Sweet Melody + New Album Confetti

I’m glad it’s holding up for them. Potential future top ten hit? When does the bbc show start?

Doing well on Spotify too, so may turn out alright. The last one had a pretty impressive run overall as well.

Good to know It’s climbing on Spotify because it did fuck all at first. They’re quite slow off the mark on streaming

Streaming is always an uphill battle for them. Even if they don’t get a number 1 again, having songs that latch on and stick around the top 20 is surely a good measure of success.

This has grown on me. Its not as instant as a lot of their other singles, but its subtle and sweet.

that is a properly fantastic video. it sells the song really nicely too. Jade absolutely KILLS the popstar game, she just exudes charisma.

cover is absolute garbage but that's par for the course with them :eyes:

I think it looks fine to good! What's your objection to it Jarque?

Perrie wasn't happy with the Holiday video... in fairness, looking at it again she is quite poorly lit

I like the overall aesthetic but I feel like it could have been achieved without the ridiculous headshots

it might work if it was some sort of instagram parody but you know it wasn’t

still, I do love em. Slay, or whatever it is they’re saying now.

That's the same release date as Kylie for the album.

Friday is shaping up to be a big day for pop groups releasing songs that aren't singles

there's some Simon Cowell shade in this one apparently. the clip sounds alright.

That cover is all kinds of awful

Jade looks like she’s about to stick her tongue out?

Yes, it’s a bit rough around the edges but has so much more attitude than anything they’ve released for ages

It’s very shouty, isn’t it

But is it too shouty? Yes

Also liking this a lot. Plus it opens with lots of lovely Jade vocals.

easily the best track of the era so far. currently looking at going in top 40 on Friday which is not bad for a non-single

yeah it's just an instant grat hun. third single + video with the album in 3 weeks

I get so confused with what is and isn’t a single since they all seem to follow the same bloody release strategy anyway

And when the songs are getting put on Spotify pop playlists anyway, what difference does it make? It hasn't got a proper video, but then plenty of 'proper' singles don't whe first released now, do they?
