There's Nothing I Won't Do (original mix) - JX

I'm probably going to nominate it in unremixed form if no-one else does.Regarding remixes, are we really not just having one entry act as an effective umbrella for other mixes? I went with my favourite version of Dreamer (all that piano, it's a sound I can't get enough of in dance), but I can't imagine the votes it might get are purely for that one![]()

What will you do if the same song reaches the final more than once? With regard to mixes, I decided to let people specify a mix and open the floor up to multiple versions of the same song because there are some that are completely transformed beyond recognition and become the definitive version. Southern Sun is the example of this in SorB's list - the Tiesto mix is by far the most well known, but is worlds away from the original version.
I'm thinking maybe a couple of snap head-to-heads, unless it's obvious from the voting that both versions are massively popular. What will you do if the same song reaches the final more than once?
Which mix? Also, after a bit of rummaging on Spotify I've found the unreleased mix of Southern Sun with the suicide lyrics. It actually made me gasp aloud, I'd started to think I just imagined that it existed.
Confusingly, it's always just been listed as the 'Tiesto mix', same as the released version. I randomly downloaded it YEARS ago, and couldn't find it again for ages. It's pretty much similar, but the lyrics to the chorus are a lot more pointedly about killing herself. PARTY!Which mix?
I shunted poor Crystal off my list too
Oh for sure. Just adding a remix when it's already a legit banger risks splitting votes (or something).I think specifying the remix version is fine for some songs, no? Especially those where the single version wasn’t dance st such but got spruced up with off yer tits mixes.

I've never heard it! I just assumed the "suicide trance" line was just Zu getting excited again.

I think both are, to be honest, but this one basically spells it out.The whole thing (including the original) is about suicide, no? At least that was always my interpretation
I was thinking of putting any repeated songs in the same semi-final and sending through whichever (if either) gets the most votes. Is that what you're suggesting anyway?I have an idea: why don't votes for the same song via different remixes count as one, with the edit that got the most votes being the one that would go through?
'disco drowner'Does anyone have a mp3 of the disco drowner version to share?

What? No!I’ve just realised that for all these years, I thought she was singing “‘Cause it’s easier to float” rather than FLY
