Well will you look at that. I feel like, and some will think me premature, but I feel like we are coming out of the UK's 30-40 year cycle of staring down into the abyss of rightwing populism. It isn't who we are - not by far. And as Reform and Restore become more and more comedy punchlines, so we start to move away from that. I realise we are far from solving our problems - as is the Earth in general - there are few countries solving long term problems after all - but - this is life - and we need to push through that together, and face that together, and not look for someone to blame - because that gets us exactly nowhere. So, fuckity bye bye to Reform's electoral moment - it will splutter for a few more years, but that turkey is well on the way to being cooked.
