I wonder how (younger, in her late teens and 20s) would've been like as a flatmate? I imagine she'd be somewhat quiet and kept to herself most of the time, but randomly singing loudly to herself until she notices others can hear it.

Maybe she'd have a synth in her room, that could be noisy too.
If they had video calls back then Enya would also be chatting to family (then again phone calls still existed).

Haha it occurred to me that whilst Enya was dancing and singing the night away last Saturday night I was watching Last Night of the Proms on telly with my sister.

Enya's interesting with classical music; she didn't care for other composers (besides her favourites) much, but obviously enjoyed the feel of the music and strong melodies.

I was just thinking in that recent singing clip (and several others from the past) Enya's singular voice projects very well! It's easily picked up from built-in phone microphones a few metres away.

Regarding a recent Reddit post (basically my current status GIF here ) Enya is heartwarmed by both who are happy to see her happy and some who are rather protective of her.

In all honesty, at this point in her life and career she doesn't give one about being filmed (basically being in-shot) at any known family gathering and posted online. Most of us are just happy to get a glimpse of her informal side.

(2019 was the last time she officially spoke aloud to fans, but last year she made official statements and had a lot going on too.)

Enya is thinking back to her Watermark promotional era and she's glad it's not that busy now (though ideally she would be doing  some album promotion).

Enya is humming an amazing new tune she'd composed, and knows it isn't going to be called The Humming this time.

Contrary to popular belief, Enya does not do most of her Christmas shopping in advance. She prefers buying presents in December, of course, and has mentioned losing the excitement when thinking ahead and preparing too early.

Not last-minute, but never 'done and dusted'.

As much tailoring she might have had in the busiest years of her career, and even ironing and pressing clothes beforehand, Enya has yet to solve the issue of those creases you get in the inner thighs of trouser legs. Apparently curves play a part in this.

Enya liked a bit of Strictly this evening, but the real spectacle of the night is seeing the beautiful full Harvest Moon glowing in the sky, glistening over the water.

Enya is baffled by how the Orange March stuff in Northern Ireland seems to be going ahead, but trusts in people and Sinn Féin who are against the marches, to prevent disasterous repeats of history.

Enya is a little sad about this. She went to so many World Music Awards (and won 7 )

musical awards shows in particular really died a massive death in the last 5-10 years.

...but is probably relieved about this.

but then live performance promo in general is dead sadly. again odd given that demand for live music in a touring capacity has rarely been higher.

Enya is open to new music but if she decides a collaboration with a young singer might happen, she has to hear them carry a song without any pitch correction or reverb.

Enya is trying to think back to the last major celebratory event that she attended sober. Halloween might be the next one but probably won't end that way.

As well as "sail away, sail away, sail away", Enya sang "the big ship sails on the alley-alley-oh, on the last day of September" when she remembered the date.

Enya watched Celebrity Traitors UK this evening, and admits she'd very much like to be a part of a similar programme. When the Irish celebrity version eventually begins production (and assuming she is still one of the top choices) Enya had better accept Siobhán McSweeney's invite.

Seeing quite a few clips from the celebrations almost 3 weeks ago ️ I see Enya was happy and having fun at times, but also rather agitated, and not just from being tipsy.
