Glad Balvinder got through, Vicky was either gonna WIN (peoples champ) or go out before Blackpool so i feel that's a fitting result
 
There's a pretty good chance of Balvinder being dragged through one more dance off at Blackpool too. I don't know what dance she has but I'm fairly confident it will be more competent than a La Voix Samba.

I predict Thomas Skinner will have the most successful post-Strictly career, Holly Willoughby EVIL will be the next Strictly host, Wes Streeting will be the next Labour PM, and Trump will serve a third term.

I caught up today, aw Vicky. ♡ I expected that would happen though, wasn't a very good rendition of Sound of the Underground for one thing 😅 and her timing and energy didn't match Kai. I liked her on the show though, and she genuinely did seem great friends with Balvinder backstage and things. 🤗

(I would spam pictures but know that guy's backside is far more appealing to you lot. :D)
 
My predictions of the 3 finalist couples 🔮 Karen and Carlos, Lewis and Katya, and Amber and Nikita.

The order of the others leaving (might be completely wrong) La Voix, Balvinder, Alex, George.

But this sudden twist feels like a panic move from a show who can't trust the public to get the genuinely best dancers to the final, and now need to weight more toward judges scores without being obvious about it.

I could completely imagine that all four of Alex, Karen, George and La Voix (but not poor brave Balvinder) have been scoring more in the public vote than Amber and Lewis.

It'll be CHAOS
 
Was really looking forward to what they would have had planned. The show will miss that La Voix jeu de verve. Maybe they could have her still do some bits if it's not deemed to show bias or whatever.
 
I wonder if Balvinder might consider falling over before Saturday.

Putting my failed Mystic Moog hat on again, I suspect dancing off vs George is now her second best hope for survival.
 
Very disappointing we won't get the big camp Blackpool Samba from La Voix. She probably would have gone out but it would have been in a blaze of glory.

That's an extra ten minutes of VTs and chat from the judges as well.
 
They must have decided that her ballroom and Latin background is not an issue for the Xmas show. I think it probably would be for the main series.
 
I forgot she was the ringiest of ringers. I guess it depends what dance style she gets and also how long it's been since she did it.
 
Do they do two dances at Blackpool? Tonight's show is only 75 minutes. Could easily have been 85 if they'd thought to have pulled H & Claire aside and asked for DJ with all the trimmings.

The only time they do two dances before the final is the semi final. They really should've given them a group dance though to beef up the main show.

One dance with a sole perf from Steps with Claudia solely on the sofa with the other contestants.
