The thought that Grayling had been touted for the role by the govt was genuinely worrying. I’m quite pleased he’s been shafted.
It seems like Downing Street’s response to Lewis is like using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut. They now have a committee chair that has no loyalties to the govt and have potentially pissed off their own backbenchers in the process. SAD!
