What do you MEAN not going anywhere? He's ALREADY PLANNING FOR THE NEXT STEP!

He’s rebuilding his empire already. Literally not going anywhere. Defiant, selfish, ignorant, tone deaf and a complete egomaniac. But we knew all that already.

Desperate, he can’t find anyone that likes him to fill the roles. Hes going, but not without making a big fucking mess first.

I kinda feel like Chief of Staff to the PM should be a full time job (especially when the PM is a disorganised clown), and not given to someone who already has two other jobs.

Appointing a sitting MP and sitting minister as Chief of Staff is utterly bizarre. I hope he isn’t getting two pay cheques!

But yes, none of this is a sign of strength - it is a sign of there being nobody left.

Surely a ministerial resignation (probably Morduant) can’t be far away.

Is she one of the less shit ones? I can never remember.

She’s an odd one - from the One Nation wing of the party (so more aligned with Cameron, May etc.) but was a Day 1 Brexiteer, so who knows.

Apparently on leadership manoeuvres.

Let’s just turn off the lights and pretend, collectively as nation that we’re not home - maybe they’ll go away.

This is the education system, you see. If they stopped teaching bloody Shakespeare, we wouldn't have to keep listening to to shit journos casting every woman as Lady Macbeth.

That reminds me, I bet Carrie hasnt even offered to ghost-write his book about Shakespeare for him. Utterly useless.

How utterly utterly pathetic. Carrie has her own career - she’s not his mother. Money in his pocket, for what, his break-time tuck? It’s like something out of Merchant Ivory.

The idea that (1) this character of his is some sort of attribute and (2) Carrie isn’t pulling her weight as his wife is beyond risible.

The misogyny towards her right now stinks. He’s a grown man.

I do believe some of those stories about her being a NIGHTMARE and having her friends round all the time in places they shouldn't be, though :eyes:

Yes, she is being used as a scapegoat for his failings as a human being, and this is rooted in misogyny.

But she also chose to marry this utterly awful person, which says a lot about her.

That she wanted unlimited printer credits :(

It really did sound like it was going to descend into smut. "I took his quivering member and wrapped my warm, waiting mouth around it, gently humming the theme to Dambusters as it grew larger"
