Yes. I believe losing your sense of smell/taste is a symptom though, albeit not a common one.
 
One of our local Maccy's is causing MAYHEM as people queue to get a last drive through in. I hope they all get a nasty cough.
 
I’m calling it day and having a nap. I’m knackered after spending 90 minutes cooking lunch.
 
Imagine risking yr life for a fucking McDonalds. I mean, scientists have shown that you can leave their "burgers" in the open air for 3 months and it'll be just FINE, what's the hurry?

Looks like the loss of smell and taste issue is finally making news in the US! I know quite a few people here (myself included) who have this with either no symptoms or very mild symptoms. Certainly no high fever or cough.

The fact that the WHO or CDC are still not acknowledging this as a symptom is a disgrace when the % of people presenting with it is pretty significant is crazy! It’s almost like they want it to continue to spread amongst the blindly ignorant.

I’m onto my 9th day now with no smell or taste and have a complete loss of appetite. It’s doing wonders for the waist line.

How are you doing now?

We had same symptoms at the same time, but I’ve been fine for two days now. The only thing I feel is a bit of pressure/sinus ache. I think it’s only a normal cold.
 
No briefing from boris today because he's having a meeting. Couldn't possibly do more than one thing in a day.

Mine got better and then worse again, so hopefully you were lucky! I am still really tired and shivery.

They can't use the new powers until the Bill has been through the Lords so it'll have to be something within the existing framework.

Three people I know lost their sense of smell. Neither one of them was tested though since they only had mild symptoms.

Perhaps. Mostly outlining the contents of the Coronavirus Bill, i'm guessing. Some of the measures outlined in there are somewhat horrifying - it includes a suspension of all legal obligations on local authorities to support disabled people and their carers, and changes to make it easier to detain someone under the Mental Health Act.

Young healthy guy in my team is on leave from tomorrow. His grandmother had a mini heart attack last month. He says he’s going to visit her :manson: I had to BEG him not to and dobbed him in to my friend (in self isolation) who is his direct manager for her to tell him off.

What does lockdown mean for couples who don't live together? Are you just not allowed to see each other?
