I mean fuck. I adored the Overpowered album, I saw her live, I had a lot of time for her but wow - having at Sinead - to make your shitty point. Grim. Grim. Grim.
 
Roisin is definitely not a pop hack, she’s definitely a talent (nowhere near Sinead’s level though). All her comments have been so disappointing lately but the Sinead and all minorities needing to earn equality are astoundingly baffling and angering.
 
I actually really liked Hyper's phrasing, framing and terminology. Sure there was scorn, but it was a deserved sprinkling. For me, that's how I now see her - the monster who made Movie Star.
 
I am near gasping to see what her musical comeback looks/sounds like. I'm half-expecting her to write a book instead but if she goes all Laurence Fox acoustic waffle, it'll be hilarious.
 
Curious to know what strengths Murphy thinks she has, because I see a weak sad bitter old cunt.

Back in my day people would shove bottles up their vagina on national television for attention. That's strength, not punching down to get yourself social media traction.

Theresa May is another one like John Major who fell into the error of thinking politics had to be sharp and pointy because people want that - but it never suited either of them - I wonder if either would approach things differently now.

Streeting was arguably much more progressive on trans rights in 2017 than Theresa May was at the time.

He obviously had a change of heart at some point, and I think he's something of a bellwether of how the needle has shifted so quickly and catastrophically against trans rights in the last decade in politics.

It's insane than the UK issued travel warnings for LGBT people over US bathroom bans and now we're about to make them the law here.
 
It makes me wonder how many politicians are spouting TERF rhetoric to help them get votes, or are worried about getting hatred thrown at them, or have got influenced by people like Trump/Rowling etc. I can think of several who have claimed to be supportive then done a U turn, most recently Burnham.

As the curator of this list, I only created it for myself and others on Moopy, I had no idea it would break free and have a life of it's own. With that in mind I don't have continous access to all the latest information.

I'm not sure it's as black and white as "been to Dubai, no longer an ally", but I'm happy to look at freshly updated sources.

It's a bit more than simply having "been" to Dubai. She accepted a multi-million cheque to actively promote it. She is a Judas. Or she simply never gave a sh!t in the first place.

a lot of Moopy faves will have taken money from problematic sources. Kylie has performed in Abu Dhabi. popstars and famous people generally don't have flawless morals when moneymaking opportunities are involved.

I actually think it's pretty standard that Labour govs lean Right and Conservatives ones lean Left - neither want to be seen as being too much of the one thing - I'd go as far as to say it's way easier to get pro LGBTQ+ stuff through as a Conservative leader than as a Labour one because the Govt has to vote with you pretty much and you already have the opposition on side. Funny old world.
 
Instead of getting mad at artists maybe we should lay down our lives to end capitalism?

You COULD argue that there is a stark difference between performing there (to people who are denied their rights) vs actively promoting it as a tourist destination.
