I misread that as DAVRO, and it kind of works both ways.Hilarious that she thinks she's the one 'facing oppression'. Classic DARVO.

its delusional. One is an artist, who spun her pain into transcendent magic. One is a pop hack - because clearly they never understood anything about the queer space they operated in and that they rinsed to try to look interesting. A Duncan Norvelle figure.I can't get my head around ANYONE thinking they are stronger than Sinéad O'Connor.
Feel free, we hate TERFS!Omg, how dare Roisin talk about Sinead in such a demeaning way. "I am stronger than she was"! Evil witch!
(Also, just checking, I'm new here. OK if I join in?)
It might be the dry white wine, but this struck a chord deeper than a comment on an internet forum shouldI can't get my head around ANYONE thinking they are stronger than Sinéad O'Connor.
As mentioned before, it's strange that Theresa May, a Tory, is far more progressive than most Labour politicians (particularly Starmer and Streeting, who are regressive)

Because in that one song she said "cunty hunty"!How can Beyoncé be an LGBT ally, and at the same time launch tourist resorts in Dubai? The two are mutually exclusive.
As the curator of this list, I only created it for myself and others on Moopy, I had no idea it would break free and have a life of it's own. With that in mind I don't have continous access to all the latest information. How can Beyoncé be an LGBT ally, and at the same time launch tourist resorts in Dubai? The two are mutually exclusive.
It's a bit more than simply having "been" to Dubai. She accepted a multi-million cheque to actively promote it. She is a Judas. Or she simply never gave a sh!t in the first place. As the curator of this list, I only created it for myself and others on Moopy, I had no idea it would break free and have a life of it's own. I'm not sure it's as black and white as "been to Dubai, no longer an ally", but I'm happy to look at freshly updated sources.
a lot of Moopy faves will have taken money from problematic sources. Kylie has performed in Abu Dhabi. popstars and famous people generally don't have flawless morals when moneymaking opportunities are involved. It's a bit more than simply having "been" to Dubai. I actually think it's pretty standard that Labour govs lean Right and Conservatives ones lean Left - neither want to be seen as being too much of the one thing - I'd go as far as to say it's way easier to get pro LGBTQ+ stuff through as a Conservative leader than as a Labour one because the Govt has to vote with you pretty much and you already have the opposition on side. Funny old world. As mentioned before, it's strange that Theresa May, a Tory, is far more progressive than most Labour politicians (particularly Starmer and Streeting, who are regressive)
You COULD argue that there is a stark difference between performing there (to people who are denied their rights) vs actively promoting it as a tourist destination.a lot of Moopy faves will have taken money from problematic sources.
