As much as I like them, and their albums are always shades of decent, I just don't ever need a full album from them.

I will give it a whirl, mind.

Be interesting to see what happens with streaming - Sweet Melody is #7/#8 on Apple Music and #18 on Spotify already on its own. Being album release week it should get a big boost, so could well fly back into the singles top ten again next week.

I haven't listened to the whole thing, because of Disco, but between Break Up Song, Holiday, Happiness, and Sweet Melody, this already seems to be going down as one of their best for me. 2020 has been such a good year for music

Single only drops #8 - #12. With album release it's already up to #3 on Apple Music today.

I'd say it should easily boom back to the top ten next week, possibly a nice new peak.

I’ve listened to the album three times today, it’s really quite good. I think A Mess is my least favourite, the rest are stellar. It’s back up there with Glory Days and Get Weird for me.

Slightly concerned about Jesy though...

They posted a video about the album coming out and she looked SO sad and over it :emoji_pensive:

I know a lot of the last campaign was, well, never actioned and they put that down to leaving the old label etc. But it does feel the last two years they really have just being going through the motions.
