I still keep wondering if this is some kind of long term plan to just let Labour get in and have to deal with the ENTIRELY SHITE recession, post- Covid and Brexit world and basically guarantee they aren't in opposition for very long.
There is an argument that it would be expedient to be in opposition for a bit. Burn everything down, lose an election, then spend 4 years loudly hollering about Labour's failure to fix the damage they caused and watch the terminally thick UK electorate swallow it up and vote them back in.
EXACTLY.Well, indeed. I mean, they way they torpedoed PENPEN who, let's face it, was about the only one of them with mass appeal AND seemingly without skeletons in the closet, suggests they aren't really TRYING...
Love a good Thornberry reaction shot
pointless, awful, and DULL.

It’s not in that clip but my other favourite Lycett line, after Laura asked for his take on a Rishi Sunak interview.
”Well he’s not going to be Prime Minister, is he? You might as well have interviewed Peter Andre”
I suspect he will not be invited back![]()

It was an excellent booking though. The producers are canny enough to know what they were getting, and more importantly, the engagement they would get from it.I suspect he will not be invited back![]()

I'm not sure they expecting FULL ON TROLLINGKer-ching. He’s a comedian. They weren’t expecting anything else.
Was that Linda Barker on the end?

The thought of her sitting there while Lycett described her as dregs and backwash is too delicious.omg Truss was actually there for all this?![]()
